Hayden started kindergarten last week. Here is a quick picture I took on my phone. I have some better ones on the camera but we are fixing some computer stuff so I haven't taken them off yet.
His teacher is Mrs. Finnerty. She is actually our next door neighbors cousin. And she grew up playing soccer with my younger sisters.
So far he likes school. He gets up in the morning pretty easy. No complaints so far.
He is on the bus for a long time. Like 40 minutes each way. Ugh
He already missed a day due to being sick. Dang!
The other day I went to pick up at school. I sent a note saying this. They lost it and sent him home on the bus. Annoying. Then they called the bus and told it to wait for me if I wasn't there. So I drove home and beat the bus back.... only to have it just fly by me. It never stopped. I had to chase it down. After all of that I had to take hayden back to school for testing. (which is why I said I would pick him up in the first place).
Testing didn't go so well. he was super hungry. It was 1:00 and he hasn't eaten since 7am. My plan was to get a quick lunch together. But that was ruined. And I had no food on me. So when they asked him to write his last name (which he can). he stopped after E and said he was too tired. And later he said he didn't know his address. Which has known for over a year. oh well.
