Merry Christmas

Christmas party

Pictures from a church party. Hayden got to be a wiseman in the little skit. He got excited and ran out on the stage way before it was time. Wasn't sure what to do so he froze. Then turned around and ran off.  It was funny.  They also saw santa at the party. Amelia wasn't into him. She sat with him but did her nervous habit of hands in  her mouth.

Here comes Santa Claus

After disney and Amelia's dislike for "boy" characters, I prepped Amelia for a week to see Santa. I guess it worked. She sat in his lap and even hugged him. 

Hayden told Santa he wants Legos, a tablet, and a real wheelbarrow. 

Amelia said she wants pink ribbon, a Barbie and a Barbie car. 

We had a nice view of victoria secrets while waiting. :)

De leon springs state park

 

Aunt Quinn had a day planned for us to go to DeLeon Springs State Park.  Unfortunately this was the only day that we had bad weather.  It poured down rain all day and was chilly.


First we ate at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant.  You make your own pancakes on a griddle in your table.  hayden was very excited for this.  It is  busy little place.  Our waitress was not good but our pancakes certainly were yummy. 


Amelia licked her plate clean.  :)  She loves syrup.


Afterwards the kids wanted to try to swim.  But it was too cold for them so they quickly changed their minds.

Overall we had a great  trip to florida and didn't want to come home

It was a neat little place that we would have enjoyed much more if the weather would have cooperated. 

Halloween party 2

We did our second Halloween party the day after halloween.   Blasphesmy I know!

We arrived early again.

Amelia went to meet Ariel.  She is now her favorite princess.


We also rode the Ariel ride.  Hayden rode the goofy rollercoaster.

The kids rode Dumbo again and got to play in the play area.

We stopped to see Gaston.


the girl in front of us had a gaston tattoo and was telling him about it.  Hayden leaned over and whispered to me... Gaston likes her boobies!  He also then said that Gaston has his own boobies.

While there  we stopped at the tavern for their fake beer drink (frozen apple juice), a cinnamon roll for me and popsicles for the kids.

We rode the Pirates of the carribbean and saw Mickey's Philharmagic 3d movie.  The kids loved it.  Hayden cracks up the entire time. 
 
When the party started met the 7 dwarves.


Then Hayden rode Big Thunder Mountain with quinn and we got dinner and waited for the parade. 

The parade was great.

Afterwards we rode the Haunted Mansion.  And "saw" the hitch hiking ghosts.  (where i tripped and feel in front of tons of people.  Blood and all)


Hayden wanted to ride thunder mtn again so i took him on it.  While on it we saw all of the fireworks which was awesome.

We stopped into the Woody's party.  We saw Bullseye.  Hayden wasn't having it.  :)


Amelia rode small world and the merry go round.

We also stopped to see minnie dressed as a witch.


hayden wanted to ride buzz so we did that but he lost it soon after and was exhausted.

he fell asleep sitting up in stroller.

and threw an irrational fit on the bus back to the hotel but did fall asleep eventually.

Another fun night.

Chef Mickey

On  the day of our 2nd Halloween party  we took the Monorail to Chef mickey's.  I got this reservation last minute and I am happy I did.  Everyone enjoyed this breakfast.  Aunt Quinn came along for the fun too.

We filled our plates and got ready to eat and once again Hayden said he had to poop.  He was killing me.  I wanted hot food just once!

Amelia kept her tradition of only liking the girl characters. So she only was happy to Minnie.

So we saw this a lot again


Hayden enjoyed meeting all of the characters.

Breakfast was good.  Hayden ate at least 5 pancakes, a bowl of fruit loops and more.
Amelia ate some food and then saw they had strawberries and that was all she wanted.  She may or may not have eaten 20 of them. :0

For some reason this place bad reviews but we all enjoyed it and would go back again.
It was also a fun way to break up the day since we would be taking naps for the Halloween party. later that night
