Christmas Day (last Christmas post!)

First... Yes we know the outfit is totally dorky. We found it the other day in a bag of clothes that someone gave us. We laughed so hard that we just had to put Hayden in it for at least a little bit on Christmas. It even has suspenders underneath!

We have brunch at mom's on Christmas. The entire tray of breakfast casserole was devoured! Hayden gets to visit with Pap and open presents from him.

Then we spent some time in the ER...

Then we headed to Aunt Patti's for dinner. Then to Uncle Jack's, where we did Minute to Win it instead of the Grab bag this year. I learned that I am very good and fast at stacking apples. What a talent!
Make sure you check out the videos of the oreo part of the game (at bottom of this post). Very funny!

Christmas Morning

Santa was very good to our little boy. He brought tons of presents and even set up an electric train for Hayden.

All of the gifts were a hit. It took over an hour to open them all b/c he enjoyed playing with them.

He got a big container of wooden blocks (which he loves to just dump). Some cars and a garage. A double light saber from star wars. Some Monsters Inc toys (his favorite movie). A big dump truck. And a remote control buzz light year.

Here is a video with his remote control buzz. It talks too.

Mike and I just get each other stockings since Hayden was born. It has worked out well. Keeps the focus on the kid.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is at my Mom's house. 18 of us! So it is a little crazy. We had mom's yummy lasagna and meatballs (hayden had a full serving of lasagna and 6 mini meatballs!). Hayden got tons of gifts. He was so spoiled. We got some great gifts too. Hadyen enjoyed running around with his cousins and I enjoyed sitting on the couch!

How we spent our Christmas

We spent Christmas at the ER. Hayden had to get stitches b/c he slit his head open when he fell into Grandma's coffee table. Poor guy. After the initial shock, pain, blood he was in good spirits...until they put him under the straight blanket and held his head. He did not like that. He screamed so hard I he burst some blood vessels in his cheek! But the dr quickly glued his wound together. Afterwards he was fine again and asked for a popsicle and thanked the dr for fixing his boo boo!

Other than that we had a great Christmas so I will post some pics later.

Are you ready for Christmas

Christmas is almost here! Here are a few pictures to get you in the mood.

We were at South Hills Village to return something one Sunday and there was no line to see Santa. So we did that. We usually go to the Robinson Santa b/c he is the "real" one. But oh well. Hayden wouldn't sit with him so we are all in the picture.

Grandma bought the younger Grandkids these cute costumes. So we took them to get their pictures taken. We had two 2 year olds and one 3 year old. It is hard to get them all looking at the same time. The kids were actually really good but the photographer a little slow. Thankfully she got some cute ones...

We used the individual pictures for Hayden's Christmas cards...

Renee and I baked cookies (our yearly tradition). This year we made:
Peanut Butter Cup cookies
sugar cookies
candy cane kisses cookies
snickerdoodle
chocolate chip
oatmeal butterscotch cookies

We also made:
oreo truffles
mint cookie truffle
golden truffles
buckeyes
fudge

And lastly our tree. I am still looking for a tree topper that I like...

I still have to wrap all of my presents...

ICE!

(I love Hayden's face in this picture...classic!)

We visited the Ice exhibit at the Gaylord. It was very cool. They had several rooms with different scenes carved from ice. It sure was cold though. Don't we look great in our blue coats???
