Hayden has been busy with soccer these winter months. He comes with me every Wednesday and trains at the clinic I help coach. Sometimes Amelia plays too.
I signed up him up to play at the Brookline Rec Center and he seemed to like it. His team never won but he didn't seem to care. He liked being the "goalie" (not really an actual goalie because they couldn't use hands but did stand in goal). He gets to play in the all star game in a few weeks.
He is funny to watch. Sometimes he skips around while playing. He loves to kick it hard and will wind up and fall every now and then. he jumps and yells when playing goalie. His last game he was a maniac -- yelling I am going to destroy you, hurdled some girl and pushed her head into the floor, and boxed out a goalie. He usually is not aggressive at all. He is crazy.
He likes to wear his socks over his knees. I have no idea why.
He was very happy to get his medal after his last game. Later he did ask Mike why he got a medal when his team was in last place. :)
