First they opened their stockings. They enjoyed those and were ready for presents.
The doorways were lined with wrapping paper for the kids to bust thru.
Amelia was fun again. She kept saying it was just what she wanted.
Hayden was also fun. He would say I am so lucky.
The kids talked to Nana and Papaw on the phone and opened their gifts. Apparently Amelia peeked earlier and knew she got frozen pajamas. That little sneak. Hayden got legos and already built them that day.
Later that morning Pap and Grandma Barb came over for breakfast casserole.
Pap got Hayden a pinball machine. Amelia got Sophia figures. Both have been played with a lot already.
For dinner we went to Aunt Patti's house. We had the traditional ham and scalloped potatoes for dinner.
We visited Gram
At some point an old Nintendo was found and video game tournament began. The game was Mortal Combat and Ryan killed everyone.
When we got home the kids called Aunt Season and opened their gifts from the cousin exchange. Hayden got more legos and was very happy. He built them all by himself too. Amelia got a furr real cat and loves it. She talks to and plays with it a lot.
Mike and I keep our gifts low key. Just small stocking things. We go out after Christmas and get some good deals. Mike got an Xbox1. I got some clothes and things to decorate the house.
Lots of cookies were eaten during the hoildays
We hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas.
