We had had some cold days this winter. Many in the negative temperatures. So we have had a few delays and cancelled school days.
We also have had some snow days. The kids love playing in the snow. Tubing is their favorite.
Even Amelia loves it.
We had some friends over the one snow day and the kids often play with the neighbors too.
We got caught in a small snowstorm and someone slid and hit our van. No damage thankfully.
Several times is snowed then got super cold. So the driveway is a sheet of ice. Not fun. The kids like to go out and chip at it with me. Too bad our one set of neighbors never do their side. We laugh at them when they get stuck (they also don't chip in for salt and drive by us when we are shoveling, so we aren't just evil).
The kids like to sit by the fire place in the basement when its really cold.
We built this big snow man on our last winter storm.
Hopefully the snow is done. It finally melted (after flooding some areas near the house).
I had every intention of taking them real tubing and ice skating but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.
