Costa Maya, Mexico

Our last island was costa maya, mexico. We had thought about doing mayan ruins on this stop but thought it would be too hot and long for the kids.  So we didn't book the tour.  Well the day was cool and overcast and it would have been a good choice.   Oh well.  We thought about going to the beach but never did go.  We hung out in the port area. 

We were up pretty early due to some hammering below us so we were off pretty early after breakfast.  We found a spot in the port where you could see the ocean, watch the dolphin shows, and play in the sand. 


Since we didn't do anything we had planned I took the money we would have used and did the dolphin encounter.  I got to do it by myself which was nice.  The dolphins were so friendly.  I can not get this picture to rotate.  Sorry.

After my dolphin swim we took the kids swimming in the pool.  It was cold!

On this day Hayden was an absolute miserable child.  He kept fighting with Bryton and us.  We ended up back on the boat pretty early and taking naps.  Oh well.

I did manage to get this super cute picture of Amelia.  I just love it!


She also got to buy some maracas and a flute.  She loves them.


I thought the nap would help but he was still miserable.  It was formal night and the kids wanted to eat with us.  I dressed them up in the formal clothes (well Amelia didn't wear her formal dress because it did not look good with the beaded hair:(  sigh)

See how happy Hayden is... one day I will use these pictures against him.  Ha ha.




Hayden was a beast.  I wanted to get a  picture and he refused.  He was so bad.  Look at him in these...  It took 20 minutes to drag him and get him to stay for the picture.  I was pissed. 


We got in line and told our friends to eat by themselves so we didn't subject them to haydens attitude. Once in the dining room he seemed to perk up.  Weird.


we got a window seat for dinner and that was nice.  The kids enjoyed it.


After dinner we did get some pictures but didn't buy any of them. 

Hayden actually wanted to get his picture taken then of course.  Even by himself.  He took tons.

Amelia loved dancing to the live band.




The kids went to kids club after dinner.  We went to see the comedian and watch karaoke.  No time for singing.  Thankfully!

Got the kids and had pizza and ice cream of course.  And went to a small dance party to make Amelia happy.

Then off to bed. 

Well, that is it for our cruise pictures.  It already seems so long ago.  I want to go again so bad.  We just loved it.
