Roatan, Hondorus

Roatan is a small island off of Hondorus.  It is actually nothing like the main land and was very safe.

Unfortunately they are in the end of their rainy season.  It has rained every day there recently.

We hired a tour guide and went to Tabyanna beach.  It is ranked one of the best in the world.  We stayed at bananrama beach resort

We found the tour company and were greeted by a man with a steeler shirt and hat on.  Steeler fans are everywhere!

It was a long drive and Mike asked the poor driver a million odd questions. Poor Norma.

We got there and immediately played in the sand and water for awhile and you could see a storm coming.  It was still so pretty.

Amelia was looking cute in her swim cap and a person from the resort took her picture for their site.

After awhile the rain came and boy did it pour.  We got our stuff and took cover and had lunch.

The kids played giant connect four.

The storm stopped after about an hour and we were back in the water.

Mike wanted to get Amelia's hair braided.  I didn't want to but he did anyways. Sigh.

She sat so well even though it took at least 40 minutes.

In the end it was cute but I still wasn't happy because now her hair looked like that for formal night.

She loved playing in the sand with her princesses having a tea party again.

hayden enjoyed playing volley ball.

We did see some monkeys at the beach.  THe kids didn't like them so no pictures with them.  I should have done it.  Our friend Meagan did.

There is a nice coral reef nearby and we were going to possibly snorkel it but it started to rain again so we just headed back to the port.

When we got back neither kid mentioned that they had to pee and they both just peed on the sidewalk.  Ugh!

While boarding we saw the old ship wreck that near the port

That night the kids went to kids club of course and had a blast. Hayden got his face painted.  Amelia didn't and was upset.  This was my only complaint of kids club.  I was told they ran out of time and couldn't paint everyones face.  I thought this was kind of mean to do to 2 to 5 year olds.

we had dinner and a foosball tournament which I of course won.

We took some pictures with the kids.

I got this cute picture of Amelia on the ship.

We got our usual pizza and and ice cream :)  This night the buffet had an aweome chocolate cake with cookies in it.  We had several pieces in our family.  I took one for breakfast the next day.

That night was the Mexican fiesta and they had a dance party on deck.  Amelia loved dancing and made the big screen.
Hayden did too.

THey got some blow up toys.  Amelia danced and rode her donkey all night.
