Happy Halloween

Halloween was schedule during the "Mega storm".  I wasn't sure if we would get to actually go trick or treating so we took the kids to a few places before Halloween.

First we went Trunk or Treating in the chruch parking lot.  Hayden wore his Captain America costume and Amelia was a pirate.  The kids had fun. 


The weekend before Halloween we took the kids to Robinson Town center with their cousins to trick or treat around the stores.  They were all pirates.


Hayden looked great as Captain Hook.  (We even got him to wear socks!)  He enjoyed opening doors with his hook.


Amelia loved trick or treating.  She would run ahead and push to get to candy.  She would dive out of her stroller when we got to a new door.  She was crazy!

The kids already had plenty of candy but went around Glendale with the older cousins too. 
Hayden changed his mind 50x over which costume to wear and finally chose captain america. 

Amelia wore her rupunzel dress b/c her warm pj's fit underneath it.  She is our bald Rapunzel.  I couldn't get a good picture of her b/c she would not sit still. 

She absolutely LOVED trick or treating.  I have never seen her so happy, so wild, so excited.  She would run ahead to the house and say trick or treat and then grab candy and put it in her bag.  Then run to the next.  She sprinted across the street to get more candy.  She was crazy.  She lasted way longer then Hayden and Kennedy. 



The kids got tons of candy in Glendale.  Most people gave multiple pieces.  Amelia's favorite is lollipops but will take anything.  She goes to our food cabinet and yells treats.  Haydens favorites are just like Mommy... reese cups and kit kats (which we got tons of). 

 

 

So overall we had a great Halloween.  Stop by if you want some candy!!
