Hayden's Post

Since poor Hayden won't be the sole focus or our attention anymore I thought i would do a whole post about him.

Loves:
watching Umi Zoomi on Nick JR
chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles
vacuuming
he is obsessed with nerf dart guns that my nephews play with
"fixing" things with real screwdrivers
"helping" mommy cook. And "helping" with everything.
going bye bye...anything to get out of the house
yogurt, pierogis, hummus, popsicles, meat, broccoli, cottage cheese
looking at pictures on the computer. We have to look at my blog and all of our families blogs everyday
mini reese cups -- these are his treat for going potty or sleeping all night in his bed
dumping blcoks
babies or younger kids. Hopefully he will like his baby sister
watching Cars
playing cars in his car garage


Hates:
Being cuddled -- unless sick
wearing shoes and socks when he is inside
when other kids cry. it makes him mad and he will scream in their face or push/hit them.
sitting still
when mommy sings along with his shows
If you help him do something. He wants to do everything himself.



Misc:

He has created his own little language again. He adds an "A" sound to the end of words or he adds "A go go" to the end. So right now I am Mommiagogo. He is a weird little boy.

He likes his big boy bed but his sleep is all over the place. We had a rough week last week b/c he was sick for 7 days. I was sick for 5 of them so that sucked. He still gets up in the night sometimes. It is hit or miss. And he never gets up at the same time.

He kicks the wall really hard throughout the night and wakes me up. I don't know if he is awake or asleep.

He has peed on the potty on his own at least twice a day the last few days. I have not really tried to potty train him yet. We just have the potty just in case. And he gets a mini reese (or other treat but this is always what he chooses) for going. So its nice that he is doing that himself.

He has a scar on his forehead from his Christmas accident.

Has taken the M, N, and the comma keys of my laptop. It is very annoying. Now my spacebar also is not working well.


Hayden is a good little boy but a handful. He likes to get into things or climb things so you can't leave him alone for too long. He is very polite. He has the best manners with please, thank you, saying excuse me, bless you, etc. (At least I taught him something good). He is a happy little boy but going thru a shy phase.
