36 weeks

We are at about 36 weeks along. Everything Seems to be going ok.
Dr says I measure perfect. So that is good. Head is down. I wear maternity shirts. I don't have any maternity pants. I just wear jeans I had before I had Hayden that are a little bigger.

I have low iron so I need to take supplements. It is a problem I have had when I am not pregnant (off and on) so its not surprising. Iron pills suck. TMI... it is really hard to go to the bathroom when on iron pills. I had to call a client and cancel because i was...stuck.

I am much more sore this pregnancy. Lots of sciatic nerve pain. Back pain. Sometimes really bad. My hip area is bad. The other day I stepped and slipped on one of Hayden's toys and did a full split. I have never been flexible (can't touch toes hardly) so that was EXTREMELY painful. I cried. Hayden came over and kissed my head :) With Hayden I had no aches or pains what so ever

I am Less active since it is winter. I try to take advantage of nicer days whenever I can and at least walk. But it hasn't been nice here in forever. I miss being active. I still go to soccer practices with my 13 year old girls team but I can't do anything and it bums me out not to play.

My belly button sticks way out this time. One of the kids at the pre-school says its the baby's pee-pee.

Cravings -- just junk food, pop, etc. I am much less disciplined this pregnancy. I lost the weight quickly last time so I guess I am hoping the same this time. Not the best plan but oh well. So far no real stretchmarks or anything. Hopefully that doesn't change.

Names -- We have no idea. None.

Sleep -- yuck. I slept great when pregnant with Hayden b/c I would switch sides and could lay on my back. This time my back hurts too bad so I have to lay on my side but that always hurts my neck. And it hurts when I roll over to switch sides. I Still have lots of bloody noses. They wake me up at night. So add that to getting up to pee, waking up from being uncomfortable and that = not much sleep. You can also add Hayden waking up and getting out of bed every now and then, Mike coughing, and Mike getting work phone calls at 3 am. Ugh!

Movement -- she moves a good amount. But she seems a less crazy then Hayden did in there. It did take them over a half hour to get her heart beat reading at my last dr appt. We would hear it and she would kick them away. It took 3 different nurses to come in and try.

Room --I got all of the furniture moved in. Now I just need to get it all organized. Here is her bedding we got at Burlington Coat Factory.

(We just got the bedding. No huge chandelier for our baby's nursery. Poor deprived little girl)

Hayden will talk about the baby and can show you the baby is in my stomach. He knows there is a baby girl. But he won't touch my stomach or baby if you ask him to feel the baby. He screams "No baby". He will touch my belly button that sticks out. He thinks that is funny.

I have been getting some meals to freeze. If you have any you like let me know. So far I froze: pulled italian beef, breakfast casserole, sugar cookies, meatballs, chicken lasagna and chicken pot pie. I also made tons of cookies for the super bowl so I froze a bunch. I may do some soups. I posted 3 soup recipes on my other site: here

So that is about it. Hayden has been sick all weekend. He has a fever and runny nose. At night he has a couch. So no sleep for any of us. I am sick now too. I can barely move.

I feel your pain!! The last month of pregnancy to me is worse than the first months. Sleeping is the worst and then the nerve pains with Nathan about did me in. You look so cute pregnant, like a little basketball. Hayden is a grown up boy!
