There were 6 families and they all had 2 kids. One boy and one girl. Almost all of them were the same ages as our kids.
It is a 9 hour drive so we broke it up. Mike went some crazy back way thru west virginia. It was dark, we lost cell services, and our map app on our phone crashed. It was not fun.
We stayed at a hyatt in richmond the first night.
We did some swimming at the pool. Kids loved it.
We had to stay at a hotel one night before the house was ready so we stayed at the John Yancey Inn. Our friends stayed too. We had an ocean view balcony. The kids were thought it was cool to have a balcony.
They did some swimming there. And we had a yummy dinner with our friends.
That morning we took the kids to the beach. I got some cute pictures of the kids.
I love this swim suit on Amelia. Sadly it is already too small and it was hurting her so she didn't wear it the rest of the trip.
We did some mini golf while we waited for the house to be cleaned.
Then headed to lunch for some fabulous fish tacos. They were so yummy!
We couldn't wait for our vacation to officially begin. More photos to come!
