Cleveland Trip

We took another weekend trip to Cleveland.  It was for soccer this time.  We lucked out and had great weather.  The team went 1-1-1. 

One day in between games we had a long break.  So we drove to Lake Erie and went to Columbia Beach falls.  It was a lot of fun. 

There is a beach and then there is a waterfall that empties right into the lake.  How cool!


The waterfall had three levels.  This is the lower/main level.


We climbed it just to have some fun and were able to get a better view of the middle falls

Hayden climbed with mike several times he loved it.  He brought his bungee cord with him and was having blast.

Once was enough for Amelia.  She enjoyed playing in the sand instead.  She is just so content all of the time (and a big chicken!)


We ate our lunch here and that was nice.

We saw this house that was built into the Cliffside on the beach.


Eventually it got a little warm and the kids played in the water at the falls.  Hayden was mad when we left because I didn't pack extra underwear just shorts.


It was a fun day.  We would have stayed longer but I had to get back for our second game.
