we spent a few days at St George Utah and one day we went to zions national park
Zions is a very pretty park. The scenery is just beautiful
Our first hike was the Emerald Pools trail.
Here are all of the cousins ready to go.
Amelia wanted to climb everything that her cousins did. She didn't want to be left out.
We made it to the first pool and saws the lower falls. It felt good to go behind them and get sprayed.
Nana was nice enough to take the two youngest girls and the rest of us hiked up to the middle and upper pools.
The middle pool was back and a little hidden. Me and some of the kids all got in and cooled off.
The upper pool said no swimming so we just checked it out. The waterfall was there but hard to see since it was so low.
Our next hike was the river walk. We hiked all the way to the narrows.
The narrows is where you hike in the river thru the canyon.
Mike and I hiked a little further then everyone to check it out.
The kids stayed and played in the water. They loved it.
They also played in the sand.
We saw this waterfall on the way and stopped to get in there too.
Hayed loved climbing up rocks and sliding down on his butt.. Amelia did too.
Overall we hiked more then 5 miles. It is hard with little kids or we would have covered so much more.
