Utah Trip

We just returned from a 10 day trip out west to visit Mike's family.  We were in Utah.

The kids did awesome on the plane ride there.  Seriously.  They were angels.  It was almost scary.
We had one little mishap in the small airplane bathroom.  I had to change Amelia's poopy diaper and the contents spilled onto the floor.  Gross.  She thought it was hilarious.  Also a little funny story about her diaper... at our seats I smelled that she pooped.  I asked her if she pooped.  She stood up on her seat and yelled "No, I fart!"  really loud!

Amelia did not do well with the dog at Mike's parents house.  It is a tiny little dog that didn't bark or bother her.  But she screamed and trembled in its presence.  She never got over it.  One time playing in the basement she was spinning and fell down.  She was laying on her stomach.  When she looked up the dog was right in her face. Her reaction was insane!  You had to see it.

The kids loved being with their cousins.  Claire is Hayden's age but they were like night and day and didn't play much.  But Amelia and Claire got along great.  Hayden wanted to be with Nathan and the older cousins.  They were all very sweet and played with him and let him tag along.  And they all loved Amelia.

Hayden had a little mishap at the park and fell and smashed his face early in the week. He had a fat lip and a bad bloody nose.  His nose was swollen for a day and his lip for a few.  THen he was left with this blood blister.

We celebrated Savannah's birthday while there.  She turned 9.  It was also her mom's birthday while were there and we all had dinner.

We spent a few days in SLC and then headed to St. George for a few days.  Then we were back in SLC for a few more days.  We did a lot of hiking and I will post those pictures later. 

We went to eat several times, went to an amuesement park and had a dip party.  We also celebrated Carsons Birthday too.

The flight home the kids were very good again.  Amelia did pee thru her dress but that was probably my fault Hayden got hurt on the escalator when we got home and was not happy.  Both fell asleep in the car on the way home.  They were exhausted.

when we got home they were so excited and started playing with all of their toys like they never saw them.  Ha ha.
