Waterfalls in Utah

We got to see 4 waterfalls while in Utah. They have tons of falls but most are in the mountains so once it snows some of the roads to get to them are closed. So we will have to see more in a warmer month.

We did a short drive to Bridal Veil falls. It did say that the trail was closed starting November 1st. But the gate was open and there was no snow so we went anyways. Boy was it cold. (see picture above)

Then we drove a short distance to Battle Creek Falls where it was a short hike
and a lot warmer. There was a small fall at the bottom of the trail.

And a bigger fall at the top...

Later in the week we met the Darbous family and went on a short snowy hike to Donut Falls. Funny story... we were hiking and a few yards to the right in some trees is a big moose that was resting. I was ahead and saw it so I turned around and told the others. We considered turning around since moose can attack. Just then an older couple came hiking. We told them about the moose. They didn't care and kept going. We decided to see what happened and if they were safe we would be. Totally lame I know!!! So they walked by with no problem and we shortly followed (witIh Hayden freaking out). We did the same thing on the way back. Ha ha. Donut falls is pretty cool. When we went it was covered with snow. It is hard to see the falls in this picture but it was really nice.

I would like to go back and see it when there is no snow and looks likes this:

Here is a closer look at the donut:

I also got this great picture of Hayden. Love it!

We also saw this roadside fall on the way down the mountain. It was a fun day.

Here are the rest of the pics...
