Halloween 2011

Well we didn't go to the Halloween parade for 2 reasons:
1. My back is bad again (more info below)
2. It SNOWED!

So it snowed on Saturday. Enough to play in and build a snowman. I didn't get to play with the kids. I was completely immobile. My back was really bad. I couldn't sit, cough, stand up, anything without being in horrible pain. It is a little better now but I guess back to the orthopedic dr for me. My foot has been numb for over 6 months too. I hope they don't have to do surgery but at the same time I want to be better. Its bad enough I can't run, play soccer, hike, etc. But now I can't pick up my kids or play with them. :(

On Sunday we visited Grandma Barb and Hayden and Amelia got their treat baskets. Hayden's favorite thing was the skeleton cup with a straw. On Sunday we learned that Amelia is also petrified of dogs. She trembles and cries. Poor thing. So both of my kids are scared of dogs.

Halloween was Monday and of course it rained. But it wasn't too cold so it didn't bother Hayden. We went with his cousin John and they sprinted from house to house. They were so excited. Hayden was a jedi. John loved Hayden's light saber, luckily I brought two. Amelia stayed at my brothers house and passed out candy. Hayden's favorite candy was kit kats. He had a blast but was pooped. He passed out as soon as we got home and I had to wake him up so I could get to work on time. That rarely happens.
