Cedar Point

(about 5 seconds before we lost this snow cone...)

After Mike was done working in Cleveland we drove up to Cedar Point. I love Cedar Point and wish it was closer. Cedar Point is the best amusement park in the country if you love roller coasters... which I do. I still remember the day my mom told me I had to move on from the little dipper at kennywood and onto the racer. I was not happy. I never was a tough kid. I am sure I threw a fit, cried and pouted. I would bet that my arms were folded across my chest the entire time with a scowl on my face. I was stubborn! I do remember some bargaining going on... But anyways I ended up loving it of course!

I have always gone to Cedar Point in May to avoid the crowds. The summer can be brutal. I have heard of lines up to 3 hours. I don't like roller coasters THAT much. So this is the first time I went during peak time and it wasn't too bad. I never paid much attention to the smaller rides b/c we always rode the roller coasters but the park had tons of stuff for Hayden to do. Hayden loved all the rides that were like cars and he really like the swing ride. He hated the ride that was like the Monongahela Monster at Kennywood. He got a car that spun the entire time and he kept saying All done!

It was Snoopy's 50Th anniversary I think so they had Peanuts characters out. Hayden did NOT like them. Infact he hated them!

I finally got to ride the tallest/fastest roller coaster the dragster. Mike rode it first and then we took advantage of their parent swap and I got right on. It was a great ride and did not disappoint.

Mike even got a picture of me when it shoots you out at 120 mph.

Being Shot out:

Hayden got to play in the fountains to cool off...

Then we headed home and we were all pooped!
