Happy Thanksgiving and 1st Birthday!

First off...Happy Birthday to Hayden. I can't believe he is one already. He is such a great little boy.

My favorite things about him right now are:
his cheesy face he is making all of the time.
his soft cheeks. Everyone loves kissing them.
his pretty blue eyes and long eyelashes.
Hearing him try to talk
his funny little laugh
watching him walk like pap pap erfort
watching him stick his chest out and walk when he really wants to get somewhere
doing tongue tricks with him
his open mouth and sometimes tongue kisses!

We can't wait to see everyone at the party this Saturday.

Next... Happy Thanksgiving! We have lots to be thankful for. I could be all sappy and write how I am thankful for family, friends, blah blah blah...

Here are some less "traditional" things that I am thankful for today:

1. That we are feeling better and will get to eat Thanksgiving meal. It wasn't looking too good there for awhile!
2. That Hayden went back to bed after crapping himself at 4am. I needed more sleep!
3. The computer/internet.
4. Chocolate
5. Where we live. While I would love to make lots of changes to the actual house... the location is great.
6. That my sister watches Hayden so he doesn't have to be at daycare.
7. That Hayden is a good boy. I thought for sure he have more of my qualities (which he does have some)
8. I like having my family close by. Thanksgiving makes mike sad that his family is not here.
9. Black Friday shopping-- love it!
10. Contacts, I hate wearing glasses.
11. my car (esp after looking at mike' hyndaui
12. my job, I really do enjoy it
13. my nice camera
14. my big star jeans. They are awesome and I will never go back to cheap jeans.
15. the nice weather we have been having.
16. living near the highways. I could never live in the south hills or out 51. I would die.
17. scrapbooking, I need a hobby that is not sports related so when I am old and can't play soccer anymore I have something to do
18. coaching, I do enjoy it even though I complain, esp the little girls. It makes me feel needed
19. That I am not the sole food provider for Hayden anymore. I don't know how or why people breastfeed a one year old. I made it 6 months.
20. Thrift stores. The only place I get hayden toys now. That way if they are a bust, I only spent 50 cents on them!
