Today I took Hayden to get his picture taken for his 1st birthday and possibly his Christmas picture too. Around his birthday will just be too busy for me and I don't want to go to the studio during holiday peak times.
Hayden was very good, but it sure is harder now that he can walk, run, or crawl away. Everything there interested him. There were so many wires, cords, electonics, etc. he couldn't contain himself.
Usually he won't even try to walk when he is wearing shoes. Today of course was the day that he realized he can walk with shoes on!
Hayden was also in full serious mode. He was not giving too many smiles. He was very pleasant. Just very focused on taking everything in. So his faces were mainly serious.
Luckily we were able to get a few pretty good ones. I will put some of the rejects here for you to see. I will pass out his one year photos later, and you will get a Christmas one in the mail later. So you won't see those until later.
The pictures do not get any bigger. They are just samples they emailed to me, so they are pretty small.
He has the best eyelashes. Why do boys always get them?
And such big blue eyes. So pretty.

Serious or not, those are some really good pictures. Does a kid always have to be smiling on pictures -- I think not! You cant beat some of those pictures and you say these are the ones you DIDN'T choose! And boy are you right, those are some very beautiful eyes that kids got there.
