Leaving on a jet plane....

We are leaving for vacation today. We are flying to Utah and meeting up with Mike's family and then driving up to Yellowstone. It will be Hayden's first plane ride...4 hours. We will see how that goes! We are a little nervous about the trip. The flight makes us a nervous whether Hayden will take a nap or not. The trip makes me a little nervous b/c of the time change (2 hours difference). Hayden has been sleeping soooooo good lately. He pretty much has slept thru the night for a few weeks now (knock on wood). I hope this trip doesn't mess that up. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I think we have may have a soccer player on our hands (much to Mike's dismay since he wants a golfer). Hayden has super powerful kicks. He kicks all of the time. He propels his butt off the ground, lifts both legs and completely thuds down. It hurts so bad if he gets you. He does this in his crib at night too. We kept hearing these loud thud noises. He kicks the crib over and over. It actually shakes the walls. Above is a picture of what happens when he does it in the tub. Whoever gives him a bath is completely soaked all of the time. I don't even sit that close to the tub! We have a video I want to post but I have to learn how to edit out his pee pee. Look at how long he is...especially in the torso area!

We have also discovered that Hayden is scared of the pool. Actually petrified is more the word. He loved it at the hotel in Ohio and loves his bath time so I am not sure when this happened. The kids took him outside at Renee's house. As soon has he got near the pool he cried. So we can't use that the water was cold as an excuse, he never went in. So I tried to take him too it and he flipped out and actually was trembling. I tried again another day when the pool cover was on. He acutally let me take him over to it. But as soon as I moved the pool cover back he cried. He doesn't know who he is dealing with b/c I plan on swimming this summer!

He also appears to not like grass again. And he is getting a little clingy and whiny for mommy. Again he doesn't know who he is dealing with!

Well next posts will be about vacation. We might have internet access so if I get bored I may be posting. I am sure we will have tons of pictures to post soon so stop back. TTFN
