Hayden's funny all star soccer story

Hayden made the all star team for his indoor league.  He was very excited.
The day of the game we dropped Amelia off at my sisters so they could take her to dance school.  I brought haydens clothes in for him to get changed.  Somehow he didn't put his soccer socks on and we left.

We get to soccer and he doesn't have the soccer socks.  ugh.  He has the shin guards that just slide in -- no velcro to hold them, so he needs  the high soccer socks.  Lucky (I use that word reluctantly) I had on dress socks.  I gave them to him.  He of course puts them on and pull them over his knees.  I hate that.  Then he realizes they are slippery so he puts his ankle socks on over top.  Even better.

I guess at this point I should be thankful.  The boy has always been difficult with socks and shoes and this could have been a disaster.

The all star game was fun.  They made each half 10 minutes longer.  Hayden lost interest later in the second quarter.  When he got knocked down one time he just laid there.  He definitely is more interested in being a goalie.

But overall he had fun and wants to sign up again.  Later on the way out he told me he really likes those socks and can he wear them again sometime!

He even wore them to bed.  He is such a weird little boy, but we love him.
