Hayden had a great 5th birthday. The elf on the shelf got special permission to come help with his presents.
On his actual birthday It snowed and he was so excited that it snowed just for his day. We did some sled riding and built a pirate snowman.
The went to his choice mcDonald's for lunch. We also stopped at lattitude for some bowling and video games.
Then later we had vanilla ice cream with Reese cups.
He loved his special day.
After thanksgiving I let him invite a friend and go to chuck e cheese. We just took $10 and when we were out of tokens we were done. He took his friend Aidan and they had a blast. Then we stopped for free Frosty at Wendy's.
We also had a family party after thanksgiving at our house. Hayden wanted cookie cake. He was excited to pick it out at giant eagle. He got a ton of great gifts and has played with them all.
The kids made gingerbread houses as a fun little project. Amelia lived licking the icing of course. And she kept the tradition of carrying hers around and licking it. It didn't last too long. Ha ha.
