Our first day we had a breakfast at the Polynesian Resort at ohana. Lilo and stitch are there. Hayden was excited. We rode the monorail there which the kids enjoyed. We also mailed a post card to Haydens class.
Breakfast is served family style. It was good but not one of my favorites. Hayden joined right in the parade with the characters. Amelia did not.
Amelia did not like the characters. She only wanted to see Lilo. This becames a trend for the trip. She only liked girl characters and would do this when she saw a "boy" character".
(hand over mouth)Sometime she would shake too. She wouldn't cry or scream unless they got really close to her.
So Stitch came first which made Hayden happy. He likes that movie. So do I. I am late to the Stich movie but I am now a fan.
Lilo came next and that made Amelia happy. She went right up to her.
Mickey came. Tried to get a family picture but that didn't work because Amelia wanted nothing to do with it.
Pluto also came.
Overall it was a good experience. As I said before the food was good just not my favorite. I am still glad we went.
Afterwards we went down to the beach area and let the kids play in the sand with their new sand toys they got at downtown Disney. They enjoyed it down there. You can't swim in the water or you could get very sick. It was still fun.
Afterwards we headed back to our hotel naps. We were going to the Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom and would be out late.
