First Week

Amelia...
cries like teradactyl
sleeps way more then hayden (wish it was for longer stretches at night)
seems like a relaxed baby so far
has a strong neck and tries to hold her head up on her own
born with super long finger nails
has big feet that don't fit in all of her pajamas
had to have her glucose checked b/c she was close to 9 lbs
has a big big toe like dad
eats slower then Hayden. falls asleep every time
seems pretty content most of time
likes a pacifier
at dr was 21 inches now
had a perfectly round head (probably b/c she came out so fast)
has cute dimples




Hayden...
likes Amelia but is too rough. He is getting better
won't say her name but when he does it sounds like Mia
calls her baby sister
will tell you that the baby eats from a "dipple" (nipple)
likes to sit in the baby swing
constantly asking to go to renee's or play outside. (who needs mom or dad?)
learning to count (he can count to 10 when he wants to) and his colors
wakes me up at night by kicking the wall
has gotten wimpy scared everything is going to get him (birds, elmo, etc)
lifted his shirt and wanted to use the breast pump
seems more wild and crazy
seems so big now
loves all the presents he has been getting!

Mike...
has been traveling for work which sucks for me
went to shoot guns for work
working on his garden with hayden
is in charge of Hayden when he gets home from work

Me...
doing well... tired of course
got an ipad. still learning
enjoying sleeping on my stomach again (when I get the chance)
I have been having crazy dreams.
I get really hot when i sleep and sweat really bad. Then when the baby wakes me up and I feed her, I get cold again.
adjusting to two kids.

We had a scary moment with Amelia last week. She threw up some blood. We had to take her to the ER. They never did really decide why she threw up blood, but she hasn't done it since. Thankfully.

Overall things are going well.
