This weekend we went to Hudson, Ohio for a soccer tournament. It was such a nice weekend. The weather was beautiful, we got to do lots of things with Hayden (who was SUCH a GOOD boy), and my team came in 2nd.
My 11 year old girls had to play up 2 years and play u-14 this tournament. They did so well and won their first 3 games and made it to the finals. Pretty impressive. The girls LOVED hanging out with Hayden between games and at the hotel. He was given so much attention and he was loving it. He was passed around from girl to girl and he was laughing and smiling. He was a little ladies man. He looked so cute in the little hotspurs shirt I made him. We did our best to keep him in the shade but he got a little bit of sun on his face, it could be wind burn though. It sure was windy sometimes.

Hayden was a head turner. He sat in stroller and smiled and talked to everyone that walked by. He got tons of compliments.
We managed to squeeze in 2 waterfall trips this weekend. The first was Great Falls of Tinkers Creek in a park called Viaduct Park. Hayden was feeling pretty cool in his sunglasses. He was talking away as we walked to the falls.
The other falls we saw were in a cute town called Chagrin falls. It reminded me of a beach town and Sewickley. Lots of cute little shops, everyone out and walking. I loved it there. Hayden was sleeping at this point so we got some icecream.
We also stopped at this cupcake place: http://www.mainstreetcupcakes.com/about.htm.
Very yummy. Check it out if you are ever in the area.
One other thing we did this weekend was we took Hayden swimming for the first time. I got him some swim diapers, not realizing that they had different ones for boys and girls. So he had little mermaid ones! Oh well.

He had a cute swimsuit to cover them up. He wasn't sure what to do in the pool but it seemed like he liked it.

We have learned that travelling with a little one is different, but it was still fun. Hayden slept better in the pack n play at the hotel then he did at home all week!
