We enjoyed the nice weather yesterday and headed up to the Butler area. Our first stop was Cascade Park in New Castle. This used to be an amusement park in the earlier 1900's. Now it is just a regular park. You can read about the amusement park here: http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM1X36. Hayden loved being out. His eyes never stopped moving. He was very happy too.
Above is Hayden and I with the falls in the background. We didn't get too close to the falls. It was too hard for me to climb thru everything with Hayden on me. All of the climbing around must have tired Hayden out. He was only up for one hour and when we finished here, he passed out before we even pulled out in the car!
Our next stop was Springfield falls in Grove City (above). These falls were actually kind of big. The path down to the falls eroded so we had to settle for an upper view.
Afterwards we did a little shopping at Grove City. We got Hayden a new old man's hat b/c his old one doesn't fit.
So it was a fun, long day for us. Hayden must really be pooped b/c he is still sleeping!
