The nursery

We have been working on finishing up the nursery. The baby will sleep in our extra room upstairs. We have had the crib and changing table built for a while now. We like the way it turned out. Now that it is pretty much done we feel just a little bit more ready for his arrival. (only a little!)

Above is the changing table. It matches the crib. It is stocked with burping cloths, blankets, and wipes. We have one thing of diapers. We will pick up some after my last shower this weekend. I made the letters for the word baby with my scrapbook paper and ribbons.

Above is a closer look at the letters.

I got this little "dresser" from the LTD catalog. We have bibs, socks, hats, pacifiers, etc in it. The word prince was from Pat Catan's.

Here is our crib. The bedding and matching decorations are from Jo Jo Designs. I wanted something plain (no characters, animals, etc) and let me tell you it was hard to find something. I found this online but it wasn't cheap. So I searched Ebay and found a good deal. I am happy with it.

Above is a better look at what we got for our bedding and decorations from the website.

This is a picture of the back wall. The two frames were from my mom.

This is the other side wall. We have had the recliner for awhile now. It is so comfy. We put toys and books in some of the baskets that we got at our baby shower. The quilt holder is from Amish country. I made the letters again that are above the toy holder.

And lastly just a shot of our closet full of clothes. Everyone has been so generous. I put two metal crates that are holding onsies and pants. The shoes are top. I have a baby shower with my soccer team this Sunday so I am sure the closet will have more cute clothes. The girls love to buy baby outfits.

Speaking of the team, they are still doing well. We are currently 13-1. If we win on Saturday we will win the section title. We have already clinched a playoff spot. We are ranked #2 in the tribune review and 4th and 5th in the post gazette and MSA sports page. The regular season ends next Tuesday. I can't believe it is almost over.
