Landscaping, Promotions, Soccer, and More

Mike and I have been working around the house a lot. We finished the downstairs guest room and sitting area. We re-arranged the laundry room. We also have been working outside. We dug up all of the plants that we will not keep up with. Mike used the roter tiller and got everything level. We redid the path together. Mike worked almost 2 days straight to get it done. We added some mulch/bark to the sides. We kept some bushes and plan on getting some more. We also added some solar lights. Here is a picture of it.



At the top of the path it goes into the house and then also goes up a little bit more to the right. We have cleared an area for a patio. We were going to get some nice chairs and a table to go there. But I got a small pool with a filter at a going out of business sale so we may be putting a pool there next year. We will see.

Mike's promotion is now official. He is the NOC Supervisor. Yeah!

The soccer team is still doing well. The Trib has us ranked #3 and the Post Gazette has us ranked #5. We will see if they can keep up the good work.

Baby update....I am doing well. The kids at the daycare they send me to for work are killing me! Every 5 minutes one girl tells me my baby is getting bigger and bigger. Today she told me I was going to the break the chair! Gotta love kids.
