High school season

The girls are having a great season so far.  We are currently ranked 6th in the WPIAL.  We are 2nd overall in our section.  Such an improvement from last place in our section last year.

For the first few weeks of school Amelia only had half days so she came with me to practices.  Here she is with the girls on team picture day.  She loves coming and the girls enjoy having her there too.

4th of july

We had everyone over for the 4th of July.  It rained most of the time :(

Runner Up

My team had a tournament over Memorial Day at Edinboro University.

We came in 2nd place.

We stayed in Meadville and visited my cousin.  They took us to the overspill to the see the fish.

The kids had fun feeding them bread.

Kennywood

We went to the CV school picnic at Kennywood with some friends.  It was very busy but we all had a good time.

All Star Game

Just a photo from the mini all star game Hayden got to play in.  He is getting better at baseball.  He caught his first fly ball the other day and also got a ball and threw someone out at second.

Amelia's Dance Recital

Amelia enjoyed another year of dance.  This year she did tap and ballet class.  Her favorite is ballet.
I loved her costumes this year.  She looked so pretty.
For ballet she danced to "When you wish upon a star".
For Tap she danced to "That's How we do" from one of those teen beach movies.

Misc Cruise pics

I never did finish my cruise blog.

Here are a bunch of pictures from our time on the ship.

Our favorite thing to do was eat.  I loved the Blue Iguana taco/burrito bar.  I got some fish tacos every day with yummy green salsa.  Mike and hayden loved Guy Fiereri burgers.  Amelia loved the deli and got a grilled cheese everyday.  The kids had lots of ice cream and a couple of fruity drinks.

We did breakfast with dr seuss characters one morning.  It was cute.

Our dining room servers were great and we enjoyed dinner each night, esp warm chocolate melting cake.

We spent most of our days at sea up on the pool deck.  the kids liked the hot tubs more than pool.  And we all enjoyed the water slides.  We created our own competition  Kent low won the yellow slide.  I won the toilet bowl one.

We played mini golf and did the ropes course.  Mike played dodgeball a few times.  We did one game show.  We watched a 3d thrill theatre movie.  Everyone enjoyed watching movies on deck each night.

We had a spa cabin so we spent some time there relaxing.

We had some family competitions in fusball, shuffle board, and cornhole.  I was the fusball champion.  We played some cards a few nights and the jelly bean game.  We also had an ugly cruise shirt competition.  McKenzie won that.

Amelia did a build a bear fundraiser for St. Judes

Overall it was a great cruise.  I love cruising and hope to go on another one.
