Minnie Mia

This little cutie is going to be one. Her birthday invitations have been sent and we hope to see everyone there. It should be a fun time and we promise not to get everyone sick this party! :)

Disney Scrapbooks

Our disney trip is in May. Hayden looks at our disney scrapbooks all of the time. He is so excited. So even though he doesn't remember the first trips he still loves looking at the pictures and being told what happened. I have told him so many times that he thinks he remembers and can tell me about the pictures.

11 months

I can't believe Amelia is 11 months... almost 1 year old! Ah!!!!!!!!
Her party invitations will be sent out shortly so be on the lookout.

Here are some facts about Amelia:

Her feet either have high arches or are super thick on top. Most shoes do not fit
her.

Wears 18 month clothes.

She is a screamer. When happy she shrieks with joy. Mad she just screams.


Had a stink bug in her mouth once. Nasty!

Only eats real food. Loves bananas, cheese balls, macaroni, breakfast bars, broccoli, eggs, and much more.

Likes to dance to music. If Mike is home she won't do it by herself. She wants him to pick her up and dance.

Loves to open drawers, boxes, etc and pull things out and put them in other places.

Said Hayden the other day.

Loves to give high fives

Rides in a bigger car seat now. She was too big for the bucket one.

Is getting a few more teeth. I am so glad her current teeth will fall out one day. The bottom ones are crooked and the tops ones have a big gap.

Has such a tiny head. Her coats fit well but the hoods are always huge on her.

Climbing on top of everything and sitting on it.

Loves to climb the stairs. She knows she isn't allowed and will start laughing hysterically waiting for us to come get her if she does.

Dinosaur Museum

Hayden filled up a sticker reward chart (for staying in bed, trying new foods, eating his veggies, etc) so he got to go to the dinosaur museum.




His favorite part was playing with the toy horses...



He is old enough for Sunday school and we thought it would be good for him since he is so shy and clingy. Mike took him and he cried and cried. Later Mike peeked in and he was hiding under the chair during class. He is so stubborn. He told me he didn't like those people. And he was very upset that Mason wouldn't share goldfish with him.

He is a fun boy that certainly keeps us on our toes.

Things I love:

My new cases. I was so worried to start working again but the kids/families I am working with are awesome. What a relief.

Free clothing Tuesday at the sears outlet. You print a coupon and can get one clothing item free. I have gotten the kids some cute outfits for our Disney trip. And mike a pair of polo jean shorts.

Having Tuesday and Thursday's off to spend with the kiddos.

Chocolate. Especially peanut butter cups from trader joes and homemade chocolate chip cookies (alton browns recipe is the best)

Falls Run Falls

We met some friends for lunch out by Ross Park Mall. It was Japanese food. I like hibachi but I learned that I definitely don't like sushi. I could have told you that before I tried it though ;)

We decided to revisit a waterfall...Falls Run Falls in Shaler. Last time we went it didn't have much water. This time was much different.

And we saw some side falls.




We also saw a random fall on Route 8 by the Burger King.

Brooke
Lost hours at work so I have been staying home with the last month It was an adjustment but now I enjoy it. Sadly I will be starting again this week. Just 3 days a week though.

Is going to physical therapy for my back. It is rough. After being stretched to death they put me up on this machine. I am harnessed in and it pulls me In two different directions. It is crazy. And the way I am harnessed in leaves my arms and hands in an awkward position and I can't move them much. I have poor circulation as it is so my hands go completely numb. Then I try to move them and my arms to help it and I can't. So I get a little claustrophobic. Last session I almost had a panic attack at the end. Hopefully this works.

Planning a Disney vacation. I love planning vacations. Too bad that can't be my job. Travel agents are almost extinct due to the Internet.


Hayden
3 years old.

Is super excited to go to Disney with his cousins. And has been Practicing so he can fight darth vader when we go.

Told me the other day that he does not want to get back in my belly like when i had Amelia. Me neither buddy...

We try to do one educational thing daily. Lately they have involved counting or sorting cheese balls since grandma bought him a huge container of them.

Working on earning stickers on his reward chart so he can go to the "dinosaur museum"

Wanted a bath the other day and bothered me all morning for one. I wasn't in the mood so I said no. Later he came to me and said " my butt stinks I need a bath!"



Amelia
Is as happy as can be. Loves following you around and playing with whatever she can find

Taking her first steps by herself

Can open the fridge and does it all day.

Eating more foods all of the time

Has learned how to throw herself on the floor and tantrum to get what she wants. Ugh


Mike
Has bought a juicer and is obsessed. He is trying to be more healthy. Still can't get him to exercise though...I would kill to be able to exercise right now.

Lost 20 lbs.

Has started baking his own bread every week. He also made his own pizza dough which we now eat pizza every friday.
