Vacation Day 3 -- Sea World

We had a great time at Sea World. Quinn and Matt were able to get us in for free, so that made it even better! Thanks guys! Quinn and Matt met us there so Hayden got to spend some fun time with them. I think this was one of Hayden's favorite parks. There was so much for him to get out and look at. It rained but no one seemed to mind.

Hayden's favorite thing to do was to try to walk up the two little stairs to the sea turtles. He saw Bryton walk up the stairs (not crawl) and the thought he could too. He would have done this all day if we let him.

We got to ride the Manta. It is a roller coaster where you are laying down. The track is above you, so its like you are flying. It was really fun. Here is a picture of it:


We touched sting rays (except Mike) and I fed one. They are really slimy. Megan and I fed the dolphins. Hayden did not like that!

Hayden actually sat thru two shows. He seemed to enjoy the Shamu show. The sea lion/seal show was a bit of struggle but he made it thru the entire show thankfully.


















Afterwards Hayden crashed in the car.

Then we went to see Quinn and Matt's new house (very nice) and had a yummy dinner at the ale house (huge chicken nachos).

Day2 -- Animal Kingdom

Our 2nd day we went to Animal Kingdom. Today we learned that Hayden likes some characters (Mickey, Eeyore and Pooh) but not others. And that he will not sit thru a show for more then a few minutes (the Lion King). He also will not take a nap in his stroller at the park.

We enjoyed riding Everest. Hayden loved playing in the dinosaur park.

Vacation Day 1 -- Magic Kingdom

Ok, so I of course have tons of pictures from our trip to Disney. I will break them down by day. So keep checking back to see more.

We arrived in Florida last Friday. Our plane was delayed and we were so happy to finally be there. Aunt Quinn met us at our place. We stayed in a time share place that was our friends Larry and Megan own. They arrived late that evening.

Larry and Megan have a son Bryton that is almost 2. Hayden and Bryton immediately hugged when they saw each other it was so cute. Then Hayden kept touching his head for some reason??? They got along pretty well as long as they weren't in the timeshare.

Overall we had a great time. We are glad that Larry and Megan invited us to go down with us. I couldn't imagine going with Hayden in the summer when it is hot and crowded. This was a great time to go.

For our first day we headed to the Magic Kingdom. It was a Saturday so it was a little busy but not too bad. Luckily the lines weren't too bad. We soon learned that Hayden would not really like being in his stroller. His happiest moments were when we let him out and run around. It was pure joy on his face.

We got to ride just about every ride. Hayden loved the merry-go-round and the tea cups the most. He seemed to enjoy all of the rides. Except he did not like the snow white ride, but it is pretty scary for little kids. He cried.

We're back from Florida...unfortunately!!

We made it back yesterday just before the snow storm and woke up to over 15 inches of snow and counting...We sure miss florida right now. Hayden is wound up, I think he is waiting to go to Disney World again. So I took him outside and he cried every time I brought him in. So I put him in the backpack and "hiked" with him. He loved it.







Since the weather stinks I will try to get some disney pictures up soon. I have to upload them, edit them and organize them still. And of course I have tons.

For now I am going to enjoy my Disney treat and some hot cocoa.

(This is a huge homemade peanut butter oreo dipped in chocolate, then rolled in reese cups and drizzled with white chocolate. It is soooo good. I have been eating it for 4 days now.
